What is detailing?

There are many names that the work carried out comes under, mainly valeting in English terminology or Detailing, a more American term. It seems that the English understanding of the term Detailing is what many Americans wished it stood for, whereas it seems that in many cases the English understanding of a valet is more like the service many detailers provide in the US. Our aim is to enhance the paint so a more descriptive title such as “paintwork correction” carries more weight, as it describes the main type of work undertaken by Affection to Detail. How people view the work that is carried out or what they call it doesn’t matter; only that it is viewed as the highest level of service available.

Why bother?

The main reason for most people is to keep the vehicle looking its best for as long as possible. The protective coatings will ensure the vehicle is easier to clean and maintain over time as well. Also, by keeping the paintwork and overall condition of the car in excellent state, this will lead to a vehicle demanding a higher residual value. Some of the work is very intensive and takes considerable time. Not everyone has this time free after the working day, so by using a professional care system, this will allow time to be spent doing more important things.

Why use Affection to Detail?

The reputation of the company is based upon the satisfaction of its clients in regards to the level of service they receive and the results they see before them. Affection to Detail always strives for perfection, which is made easier due to the fact that the work is enjoyable. Many companies carry out paint correction work and anyone can say they provide this type of service. By solely concentrating on this type of work, it ensures that every client receives the same outstanding level of service as apposed to some companies that offer lower priced, less involved and lower standards of work to those that pay less. There is no point in paying out twice, ensure that it is done properly the first time round by using Affection to Detail.
