What is detailing?
There are many names that the work carried out comes under, mainly valeting in English terminology or Detailing, a more American term. It seems that the English understanding of the term Detailing is what many Americans wished it stood for, whereas it seems that in many cases the English understanding of a valet is more like the service many detailers provide in the US. Our aim is to enhance the paint so a more descriptive title such as “paintwork correction” carries more weight, as it describes the main type of work undertaken by Affection to Detail. How people view the work that is carried out or what they call it doesn’t matter; only that it is viewed as the highest level of service available.
Why bother?
The main reason for most people is to keep the vehicle looking its best for as long as possible. The protective coatings will ensure the vehicle is easier to clean and maintain over time as well.
